Collecting original artwork should feel intentional, not transactional.

LJL Galleries is relaunching its website. It refines its programming. We are also clarifying how collectors engage with available work. This applies both in the gallery and online.

Viewing Available Artwork

Available works can be viewed in two primary ways:

  • In person at the gallery during open hours or by appointment
  • Online through the Available Artwork section of the website

Our online presentation is curated and updated periodically. It reflects works presently available through the gallery, including represented artists, curated works, and select editions.

Digital viewing is meant to support consideration, not replace in-person engagement. Whenever possible, we encourage collectors to experience artwork physically, scale, surface, and presence matter.

Understanding Categories

As part of our restructuring, artwork can be viewed within clearly defined categories:

· Represented Artists
· Curated Gallery Works
· Guest and Emerging Artists
· Special Projects or Public Placements

Each category reflects a different type of engagement with the gallery, but all works are selected with curatorial consideration.

Transparency around these distinctions allows collectors to understand context, not just availability.

The Acquisition Process

All acquisitions are handled directly through LJL Galleries.

Inquiries can be made:

· Through the website contact form
· In person at the gallery
· By direct communication referencing the artwork title

We offer clear information about pricing, availability, and next steps.

Collecting is a long-term relationship, not a single interaction. The gallery remains available for future consultation, placement considerations, and continued engagement.

A Considered Approach

LJL Galleries does not show work casually. Each piece shown, whether online or in the gallery, has been reviewed for presentation, coherence, and alignment.

Collecting thoughtfully begins with understanding context. We aim to give that context clearly.
